I write to inform you that Management at its 420th Regular Meeting held on Tuesday, 10 October, 2023 noted that graduates of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana retain their Statements of Result for many years without collecting their original certificates.

In accordance with the current practice among all tertiary institutions in Nigeria, Management decided that with effect from 1 January, 2024, Statements of Result of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana will be inscribed at the based with a One-Year Validity Period which states that the Statement of Result will become invalid after one year from the date of issue of the document and the owner is required to obtain the certificate.

To this end, Management has taken steps to ensure that the certificates of all graduands are ready for collection as soon as they graduate.

All stakeholders are requested to note this new regulation for their information and guidance.
