I write to inform you that Management at its 426th Regular Meeting held on Tuesday, 19 December, 2023 decided to close some administrative units in Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana with effect from 1 January, 2024

The affected Administrative Units are:
i. The Polytechnic Liaison Office, Abuka
ii. Directorate of Polytechnic Development
iii. Department of Remedial and Basic Studies
iv. Directorateof Affiliation, Collaboration and Linkages (DACOL)

DACOL is merged with the Office of the Deputy Rector (Academic).

All staff in the affected units will be re-deployed to other offices in the Polytechnic
